What is the recruitment process like?

Our recruitment process is designed to identify passionate and qualified tutors based in Australia. Starting with an online application and phone conversation, we get to know our applicants and request them to provide information about their educational background, work experience and relevant skills. If your application meets our requirements, we'll then proceed to an online face-to-face interview where we will assess your suitability to the role based on your communication skills and a short demonstration of your teaching abilities.

How much will I get paid?

We've implemented a progressive payment structure for our online tutoring roles to reward tutors that put quality time, effort and commitment into their online tutoring lessons. Starting from $30 per hour ranging up to $50 per hour, we offer a competitive pay rate for our tutors which scales based on their expertise, performance and number of completed sessions.

Do I need any tutoring experience?

While prior tutoring experience is beneficial and highly regarded, it is not always a strict requirement during our recruitment process if you meet our other assessment criteria. We value educators who are knowledgeable, passionate and committed to helping students success. If you possess a strong academic background, excellent communication skills and have a genuine desire to teach students, we encourage you to apply as we’ll our team will provide you with ongoing support.

Do you provide training and support?

We are 100% committed to supporting our tutors' professional growth and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in their roles. Upon joining our team, we will conduct our onboarding process to help you navigate our online platform and supplementary learning resources while providing guidance on how you can create engaging and effective learning experiences for your students. In addition, we believe in ongoing weekly support for our tutors to help you with lesson preparation, student support and teaching advice. We also regularly check in with you to ensure that you feel confident and prepared in your role.

Do I need an ABN and WWCC/Blue card?

All tutors will need to have a valid WWCC/blue card and Australian Business Number (ABN) before commencing any work with a student. While it is not necessary during the application process, we do strongly recommend you have these qualifications first if you would like to be highly considered for an online tutoring role.

We offer online Maths & English learning support to Year 2-10 students across Australia in addition to Biology, Chemistry & Mathematics tutoring for Year 11-12 Queensland students.
