The content in our programs are structured according to your child's skill level, individual needs and learning goals. It is developed by our lead tutor team and mapped to the Australian National Curriculum.

Will I need any special equipment for the online lessons?

All lessons are interactive, face-to-face and taught online in real time through our online learning platform. You won’t need any special software or downloads to connect to your lessons, only a tablet or computer with audio/video functions and a stable Internet connection. Recommendation: Although it is not essential, we do highly recommend having a digital stylus or writing pen if your child wants to interact with our whiteboard (great for Math lessons)!

Will I receive any notes or overviews after each session?

Yes, we regularly keep all of our parents informed about their child's learning progress via email with lesson overviews completed after each session. In addition, a full family support system is in place for you to contact at anytime if you have any questions or concerns.

How long are the tutoring sessions?

We offer tutoring session lengths between 45 to 90 minutes focusing on a single subject at time. For more information about our session lengths and recommendations, please feel free to contact our team for assistance.

Are the lessons one-on-one or with a group?

At Cloud Tuition, we specialise in face-to-face online tutoring programs that are delivered one-on-one by a qualified school tutor. By giving each student the individual attention they need for their specific learning needs and goals, we're able to provide a higher quality of learning support to help them excel in school and beyond.

What qualifications do your tutors have?

Our tutors are highly qualified subject specialists and either hold teaching qualifications or are experienced in a field related to their respective subjects. We have hand-selected and personally vetted each of our online tutors for their personality, communication skills and academic knowledge to maintain the quality of our tutoring sessions. Furthermore, we also check that our tutors have a valid Working with Children check (WWCC) prior to commencing any sessions to ensure the safety of our students.

What is your cancellation policy for scheduled tutoring sessions?

We require at least 24-hours notice to reschedule or cancel a booked session at no charge. In this case, we'll either refund the full fee of the session or credit your online account for the same amount which you can put towards a future payment. Unfortunately, you will be charged the full fee for a session if you cancel less than 24-hours before your scheduled lesson.

What will my child learn during their Biology or Chemistry lessons? Is the content aligned to the curriculum?

We personalise our Biology and Chemistry tutoring lessons to build on your current knowledge, skills and learning needs. Mapped to the Australian Curriculum and QCE, our team will help create a goal-oriented learning roadmap for you to follow to ensure that you cover the content and skills that you need in Units 1-4 to help you score the best marks in your internal and external assessment and ATAR.

What other school subjects do you offer tutoring services for?

We provide tutoring for Year 2-10 English and Mathematics for students across Australia and Year 11-12 QCE Biology, Chemistry & Maths. Although we do recommend starting out with the subject that needs the most attention first, you are more than free to request lessons for additional subjects at any time during your child's tutoring program. Please feel free to contact our team directly for more information about our multiple-subject tutoring support.

Furthermore, we also check that our tutors have a valid Working with Children check (WWCC) prior to commencing any sessions to ensure the safety of our students.

How are your tutoring sessions conducted?

Our tutoring sessions are conducted through our online learning platform. No downloads are required to connect to our lessons but we do require our students to have access to a reliable tablet/computer with working video, audio and Internet access. From there, they'll be able to meet face-to-face with their tutor online for their tutoring sessions.
